D2 StoreFront Full Source Code now available again at knockdown price
Due to multiple requests by users, i’ve made the D2 StoreFront source code available for purchase again but at a fraction of its original price.
Was £110.00, now only £14.99! For that, you get the full, entire, unadulterated source code as an ASP.NET VB website and also a copy of license for the full retail version of D2 StoreFront.
Why so cheap and what’s the catch???? The catch is that the app is now unsupported, myself or D2 Computing are not obliged to provide any support.

Existing retail customers will, of course, still be fully supported (no support will be provided for users of the free version).
This decision was not taken lightly and is basically down to the fact that there are a lot of good eCommerce applications on the market and to take D2 StoreFront to the next level and keep it a viable product would have taken more time and resource than I have available. I made the mistake early on of adding too much to the free version meaning 99% of people used that, leading to the app costing more to host over the years than it actually made! I hope therefore that you’ll appreciate why I took the decision to call it a day. My heart isn’t in it any more and to produce the major update that I wanted to do would have taken 100% commitment.
A BIG thanks though to those of you who bought D2 StoreFront over the years and allowed me to develop it for so long (it was around since .NET 1.0 was in nappies!). I’ve been in touch with some very nice people over the years whilst working with the app.
I’ve got the bones of its replacement sat in my source control repository so who knows, one day…….. I’ll update this blog if anything changes in the future.
